THE MEGHMALHAAR STORY

Meghmalhaar is the result of Mumbai-born former finance professional Nehali Kothari's creative pursuit. During her sabbatical, Nehali did a SWOT analysis and found her calling in fashion designing, something she had burning in the back of her mind all through the 15 years of her successful career in finance. What followed was a whirlwind trip to all the fabric hubs in India to research, learn and understand the products, its people and the market.

Meghmalhaar is named after Nehali's daughter Megh, in whom she sees the modern Indian woman. Nehali and her team of designers together create work wear, casual wear, festive/occasion wear for their beloved patrons, offering them an enviable variety in fabric, colour, embroidery, print and design; all this within their budget. From Raveena Tandon and Tapsee Pannu to Tisca Chopra and Rytasha Rathore, top Indian celebrities too love dressing up in Meghmalhaar.
